Speaker Shoutout Jasmine Smith is an energetic millennial highly- skilled in strategic planning, event production and marketing. She is a Partner of The Coordinated Collective, an award-winning niched day-of wedding coordination company. Having worked with more than 200 couples, the company has been recognized twice nationally with a Couple’s Choice Award an award given to the top 5% of wedding professionals across the U.S. Jasmine is also the Founder of DC Wedding Week, a week of social, business, and industry-focused experiences for wedding industry professionals. The first DC Wedding Week was was hosted in April 2018 and included six events in five days at six different venues across Washington, D.C. In its first year, the week long event attracted 300+ professionals and 42 local and national Partners. She uses her personal story as a teen and single mom to empower people to overcome adversity and manage life while pursuing goals. Through conference presentations, guest lectures and workshops, Jasmine has shared her story and offered business advice for the Junior League of Washington, the Bullish Conference, the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development, Trinity University and General Assembly. As a military child, Jasmine was raised all over the world and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from Georgetown University. In addition to running her businesses and working full-time, she serves as a personal driver to her 18-year-old son and student-athlete.
